New technology rollout for MyPlanner and Advisers

As part of a business wide technology transformation program, fast growing privately owned licensee MyPlanner has chosen Salesforce with a PractiFI skin as their core business management platform. This technology program also encompasses their network of financial advisers, accountants and mortgage brokers.

Philippa Sheehan, Managing Director of MyPlanner, said the rich, integrated solution has already dramatically improve efficiencies across its network, allowing its businesses to automate their workflows and foster stronger relationships through a single view of client.

“A robust yet flexible platform provides our network of advisers the seamless solution they need to better service their clients and run their businesses”, Sheehan said.

Glenn Elliott, PractiFI’s Chief Executive Officer said “PractiFI has been built from the ground up for the wealth industry, where there is a clear need for scalable, client focused software that can also be used to run all aspects of a large wealth business.”

Sheehan commented “After an industry wide search, we assessed the benefits of building our own solution but found that PractiFI’s Salesforce based solution met our industry needs right out of the box”.

Reiterating Sheehan’s comments, Elliott noted that many licensees have been burned in the past by over-customisation, and believes that PractiFI offers the perfect balance of functionality and configurability.

The partnership sees MyPlanner come on board as PractiFI’s first dealer group client, adding to the company’s increasing traction in the financial planning sector. “We’ve had a bumper start to the year, with some significant industry nominations and accolades and the addition of MyPlanner to the PractiFI family solidifies this”, Elliott said.

“We’re thrilled to work with industry leaders who really “get” the technology opportunity in the future of advice businesses”, Elliott said in reference to the MyPlanner executive team.

“This is another exciting announcement in the PractiFI journey and there are many more to come soon.”
